Scott Dunning

Burns Brothers Financial is pleased to announce the addition of Scott Dunning to our staff of tax preparers/accountants.

Scott comes to BBFG with an undergraduate degree in Financial Accounting and will complete his CPA certification and his Master of Accountancy degree from the Carlson School of Management, University of Mn, in May 2025.

Scott is an Enrolled Agent with 7 years of experience in business and individual tax returns along with tax planning and bookkeeping experience. He is known for his ability to explain the client’s tax return so they understand it and feel in control of their own tax situation. He is known for explaining his client’s returns in a way that helps them understand the process and feel in control of their own tax situation. Scott is available for individual, small business, trust & estate, and non-profit returns.

He is a US Navy veteran and former chef. He currently resides in Bloomington with his wife and their two dogs. Their two adult children also live in the Twin Cities area, so they still get lots of family time. Scott is a novice gardener and canner. Scott and his wife enjoy live music and theater.
